About
Erum is a longtime Lewisville resident, small business leader, and dedicated public servant running for City Council, Place 1. She has raised her family in Lewisville, spent over a decade serving local schools and PTAs, and led the Lewisville High School Band Boosters as President for two terms. Erum currently serves as Vice Chair of the Planning & Zoning Commission, a subcommittee chair for Vision 2035, and a three-term member of the Old Town Design Review Committee. A graduate of Citizen’s University, she brings deep institutional knowledge and a collaborative, results-driven approach.
Erum is committed to listening first and leading with integrity. Strengthening Lewisville’s tax base, responsibly revitalizing aging areas, and ensuring the city remains a welcoming place for families and businesses for generations to come.

Erum’s mission is to be a strong, thoughtful voice for all Lewisville residents. She is committed to working collaboratively with City staff and community stakeholders to protect the stability of Lewisville’s tax base, invest responsibly in aging infrastructure and commercial areas, and support smart growth that strengthens neighborhoods, schools, and local businesses. Her leadership is grounded in listening, transparency, and fiscally sound decision-making.

Erum is running for City Council because she loves Lewisville and believes in leaving her community better than she found it. After decades of volunteering, civic service, and hands-on leadership, she understands how local decisions impact everyday lives. While she knows leadership isn’t about being perfect, she is committed to listening, learning, and leading with integrity, compassion, and a servant’s heart.
